Ladies visit

Better late than never. Here's a few of my pics from the ladies visit a couple of weeks back. I've also got some from others who were there, so I'll post some of those soon.

Reflection

Just a couple of pics from last week. The pond was showing off a beautiful reflection of the clouds, so it was a nice quick shoot for me, no messing around, and straight in for a swim!

We normally pause to take in the sights of the pond when there's interesting bird action going on, but if they're just sitting there doing nothing?!...and it's time to swim? Then action has to be taken!

More sun!

Since I've missed a few days, here's a bumper crop for you, all taken yesterday. Early swimmers are being blessed with some lovely sunny mornings, long may it last.

Another gorgeous morning, I don't mind if rains all day, as long as it's sunny when I'm at the pond!

Signets

There was a lot of talk about the signets at the pond yesterday, I took the top picture just before I arrived for my swim, and by the time I'd got changed they were putting on a bit of a show, flying round the pond and practicing their landing skills. It was all great to watch, so I chose to enjoy the moment rather than try and get the perfect shot! Maybe next time.

Sunny mornings

We've been having a few gorgeous mornings this week, the air temperature is going down, and the water has a nice freshness to it, it's been pretty much perfect really. Another degree or two drop in the pond with some more sunny mornings please.
